While it\u2019s an unusual term, the concept behind an unconference is not complicated. Craft Content Nashville continues to live by the following unconference \u201crules\u201d established by its predecessor, PodCamp Nashville:<\/span><\/p>\n

Content is driven by the attendees.<\/b><\/h4>\n

That means that the people who sign up to attend the event are the ones who determine what the topics of the conference will be. <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s easily accessible.<\/b><\/h4>\n

Other than the cost of lunch, the event is produced at little to no cost to the attendee.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201claw of two-feet\u201d applies.<\/b><\/h4>\n

If you\u2019re in a session and it\u2019s not what you thought it would be,<\/span>
\n<\/span>or there are two sessions happening simultaneously and you want to catch a little bit of each, just get up quietly and walk out. It\u2019s not rude. In fact, it\u2019s encouraged! This is your event, and we want you to get as much out of it as you can.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conversation is encouraged.<\/b><\/h4>\n

Did you get great information at a session and want to continue that conversation? Grab a table or an empty room, write the topic you want to discuss and keep talking! You don\u2019t have to attend a session in every time slot. We only ask that you vacate the session rooms in a timely fashion so the next group of presenters and attendees has adequate time to prepare.<\/span><\/p>\n

Go impromptu.<\/b><\/h4>\n
