Alaina Shearer, a fearless leader and a total digital content nerd, founded Women in Digital in June of 2016 over a mimosa toast with a group of 100 women in Columbus, Ohio. The energy was indescribable and in that moment, a movement was born that took on new life when shared online. Now 1,300 members strong with 19 chapter cities nationwide, Women in Digital has become one of the most influential and powerful communities for women in digital creative fields including digital advertising, communications and marketing.

Before founding Women in Digital, Alaina created one of the finest content and digital strategy agencies in the Midwest, Cement Marketing. Preceding Cement’s creation Alaina’s personal blog, MsSingleMama.com attracted 30,000 readers per month.
