CCN17 Attendee Survival Guide

Craft Content Nashville 2017 is almost here! The doors will open at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, and our keynote will begin promptly at 9 a.m. at the Nossi College of Art, which is located at 590 Cheron Road (near the intersection of Briley Parkway and Ellington Parkway).

We're excited for Craft Content Nashville!

In preparation for the big day, we thought we’d provide you with some key logistical details on how to get the most out of CCN17.

What Do I Need to Prepare?

First, look over the session schedule grid PDF on the homepage of our website. Read up on the session descriptions (you can download them in our schedule book PDF) and plan accordingly. We’ll also have printed programs on-site, of course, but there’s no harm in knowing exactly which sessions you want to attend.

If you missed purchasing a ticket in advance, don’t worry! We still have tickets left and you’re more than welcome! Just buy yourself a ticket once you arrive at Nossi, and you’ll be good to go.

Where Do I Park?

There’s plenty of FREE parking at Nossi. Just be sure to come all the way around to the BACK of the building — that’s where their giant parking lot is located, as well as the main door for CCN17. (Once more, with feeling: Come around to the BACK of the building!)

What’s the Schedule for Saturday?

The session schedule is now available, so check to see where your desired sessions are located and when. Give yourself plenty of time to check in at registration.

  • Speakers – Please let our registration volunteers know who you are when you check-in!

Popular sessions may be standing-room only. Plan accordingly!Doors open at 8:15 a.m. for check-in, and a little early networking. There will be a short orientation period and some quick announcements at 9 a.m. in the gallery area. Then our keynote speaker, Angus Nelson, will begin his presentation—around 9:15 a.m.

At 4:35 p.m., once the final session of CCN17 has concluded, we will move into Studio A for the official CCN17 After Party.

Sessions

Sessions are 35 minutes long, with a 10-minute break between. We’ll take a longer break at lunch time to allow for two special presentations and plenty of time to eat!

What Should I Bring or Do Day Of?

  • Make sure your smartphones and other electronic devices are fully charged for tweeting, texting and blogging.
  • Bring a nice shirt and your smile if you plan on having a new headshot taken.
  • Don’t forget your business cards!
  • A small notebook might be nice for note-taking if you’d rather not go electronic.
  • Oh, and be sure to wear COMFORTABLE shoes. Our extra popular sessions might wind up being standing-room or floor-seating only.

Most importantly, have fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
